Okay, the sellers have supposedly signed the counter offer. They are out of town and had to be faxed the form and from what we understand, the hotel desk clerk had trouble faxing it back. It should be at the seller's office in the morning. Meaning, I just have to get through the inspection. Pray there's nothing major wrong with the house!
Number One Rule to buying a house - get an intelligent realtor. I did but I am not so sure the sellers did. She's new and I am very leary about her saying "Oh, it's okay...they're going to sign it." Like my realtor said "So me the paper!" I am afraid that the seller's realtor isn't explaining things to them like my realtor is. All the stuff involved in this is very intimidating and if I didn't have M. I would be a basket case. So far, I am overwhelmed but at least I understand what I am doing or have enough confidence to trust my realtor when I don't.
Still overwhelmed!
