Grace in Little gestures

Yesterday, was a very bad day that carried into today. I spent a great deal of effort fighting tears and hoping no one noticed. But there was one moment I will cherish forever. Rose Marie who works in my building and is always very sweet when we met in the hall, came into my office at 7:00 a.m. and gave me a welcome to your new home card and a magnet that said "May the Love in this House Bless all who enter." At that moment I was hating my house and about to have a nervous breakdown and here is this woman who really doesn't know me - giving me the sweetest gift possible at that time.

Things are better now and Rose Marie now ranks up there with my parents for people I am grateful for, without them I would be lost. The little graces are almost as important as the big ones.

On a side note, my parents have been right beside me through this whole process and one thing I haven't said is how much I love and appreciate all that they have done for me. I also want all to know who enter my home to know that it is the house that Tommie and Wanda helped make a home.
